Our Level One Avalanche Courses are a one evening and two day course with an emphasis on learning about snow mechanics, hazard evaluation techniques, and developing your avalanche judgment for the backcountry. This course is designed for all types of backcountry travelers, snowshoers, backcountry skiers, snowboarders, and mountaineers.

Includes the full AIARE Level I certification course, 2 nights lodging in our Yurt at 5000', the Cat ride in and out, AIARE (American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education) curriculum and workbook, and a couple of cat runs conditions permitting.
